Not your typical mini-golf (cocktails encouraged!)…

Tappers Mini Golf elevates the traditional mini-golf experience, complete with a cocktail in hand.

The Gator and Gopher Courses, each with 9-holes, were designed by co-operator Oliver Mahoney, a top mini-golf builder in the United Kingdom.

Finishing touches continue to be added to each course.

“We’re excited to finally have families, groups, and couples play this new outdoor entertainment offering at The Loma Club” says Laura Johnson, The Loma Club co-operator and Point Loma resident. “When Luke (Mahoney), John (Levan), Oliver (Mahoney) and I took over the operations of The Loma Club in early 2020, our goal was to never to change, but simply heighten and enhance the golf and hospitality experiences that guests and their families – including us four operators – have enjoyed for decades. With Tappers and the updates we are making at The Loma Club, we look forward to continuing to see guests of all ages spend more time outdoors with family and friends as well as welcome new players to the game of golf, with food and a few drinks in hand.”

New food menu, too!

The Club’s food and drink menus, which take inspiration from classic country club fare but with an upscale twist, first debuted in March 2020.

Building upon those initial offerings, The Loma Club has added a few more mouth-watering sandwiches, including the New England-Style Shrimp Roll complemented with lemon, Old Bay and chives, Pork Belly BLT with a lemon herb aioli on herb focaccia, and a vegetarian-friendly Green Goddess Sammie with bibb lettuce, pesto-marinated mozzarella, cucumber and avocado on honey wheat.

Tee up any meal with new “Snacks”, from the house-made (not-from-frozen) Chicken Tenders with the option to make them Nashville hot, to the French Onion Dip with housemade potato chips and the Clubhouse Snack Board with andouille sausage, whole grain mustard, pickles, and pimento cheese.

Pair these new food items with Loma Club favorite craft cocktails like the Jungle Birdie (house-infused pineapple rum + Campari + lime + soda) or On the Green (You & Yours’ Sunday London Dry + cucumber + elderflower + lime + tonic). Rotating craft beers on draft and in cans are available along with a selection of red and white wines and canned cocktails from You & Yours Distilling Co.

See you there, San Diego!
