Mega-Entertainment Venue Punch Bowl Social Opens In Makers Quarter

Punch Bowl Social opens in San Diego’s Makers Quarter Saturday June 9th after much anticipation.

The massive 20,000+ square foot ‘eatertainment’ venue – complete with restaurant, bars, bowling alley, arcade, karaoke, and more – will take the nightlife options in Makers Quarter up a great, big notch, to say the least!

The venue choice is pretty cool – a historic boxing arena called the Coliseum that used to be a huge draw in San Diego in the 1920’s and 30’s. After becoming a furniture store, and then sitting empty for years, it will now have new life.

Now that arena looks like this:

The concept was founded by Robert Thompson in Denver in 2012, and San Diego marks their 12th location. They’ve been growing like crazy because they have a concept that’s big a big hit. And why not…it’s a lot of fun under one roof!

See you there!
