Mexico In A Bottle-The Biggest Agave Spirits Tasting in The United States-Comes To San Diego

Mexico in a Bottle is coming to San Diego for the first time on March 11th and we could not be more excited.

With an incredible selection of mezcals, raicillas, tequilas, Mexican craft beers, Mexican wines, bites from local restaurants, and great cocktails from local bars–this is an event you don’t want to miss.

Mexico in a Bottle was founded in 2014 by Susan Coss and Max Garrone. They were inspired to create a grand mezcal tasting because of their love of mezcal and Mexican culture.

They’ve since hosted everything from large 1,000 person tastings at Lucha Libre wrestling matches to intimate six person tastings paired with dinners.

Mezcal has enjoyed an enormous resurgence in Mexico and the United States because it’s tied so tightly to Mexico’s traditions. Mezcal’s story isn’t just about alcohol, each bottle contains a piece of Mexican culture, and is a living link to history, tradition, art, and music – life and death all in a bottle.

There will also be incredible bites from local restaurants, cocktails from local bartenders, and encounters with the incredible personalities from the mezcal world, a tiendita, and much more.

The event is hosted by Bread and Salt on the edge of Barrio Logan. The space is amazing, the neighborhood is amazing, and the entire scene in San Diego is more than ready for Mexico in a Bottle!

See you there!
