North County Says Hello To The Cassara Carlsbad, A Mediterranean-Style Hotel

The Cassara Carlsbad, Tapestry Collection By Hilton, a 90-room fully redesigned, full-service hotel just minutes from LEGOLAND California, the famous Carlsbad Flower Fields, the Crossings Golf Course and Carlsbad Premium Outlets, is the latest addition to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolio, one of Hilton’s 17 market-leading brands.

The modern hotel features stunning and elegant colors the minute you walk into the lobby. The distinctive logo embodies the beautiful, colorful rows of the blossoming ranunculus flower, which is interpreted throughout the hotel with help from an iconic Mediterranean shape found in century-old Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian architecture and art forms.

Intertwined in the lobby and room style are organic colors of natural sand and ocean hues that whisk you away to a beach-front, laid-back lifestyle that people dream about. The Cassara Carlsbad commemorates over 60 years of local North County flavor while still imbuing a modern Mediterranean spirit throughout the hotel.

“We are proud to welcome The Cassara Carlsbad to our collection of world-class hotels and resorts here in one of the most beautiful coastal communities in the country,” said Chris Draper, Managing Director of The Cassara Carlsbad. “Whether for work or play, the Cassara offers spaces and experiences designed to inspire as well as a location nearby tech hubs and San Diego’s top attractions.”

Unveiling a total redesign of the lobby and check-in areas and fully updated guest rooms with Pacific Ocean coastal views, the hotel originally opened as the Grand Pacific Palisades Hotel in 1999 and recently joined the Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolio.

The family-friendly Cassara Carlsbad is immediately adjacent to LEGOLAND California, which features a private pedestrian entrance, a family pool with water features and quiet pool options, and unique and locally-sourced sustainable food and cocktails servedat the Costa Pacific Kitchen & Bar.

DINING

Meal options abound, both from the area’s numerous eateries as well as on-property offerings. The hotel’s The Cassara Kitchen & Bar specializes in offering fresh seasonal seafood dishes and casual American fare inspired by the Southern California lifestyle, serving entrees such as Baja Fish Tacos, made with basmati rice, Harrisa citrus marinade, bloomsdale spinach and a
Steakhouse Burger, featuring a ½ pound brisket short rib patty, thick-cut bacon grilled onion, white cheddar, and house remoulade. The bar will also serve up seasonal cocktails such as the
Hibiscus Sour made with Mi Campo Blanco, lemon juice, Hibiscus tea syrup, and egg whites.
