Oceanside Museum Of Art Announces Fall Dates For New Block Party Event Series ‘Street Level’

Oceanside Museum of Art announced their Fall 2023 dates for its newest ‘block party’ event series, Street Level.

Each event in the series celebrates a different aspect of our rich regional culture and showcases local talent – musicians, spoken word artists, dancers and performers from across California – set against the backdrop of the museum in the heart of Oceanside’s Cultural District.

Street Level Vol 1.3: Nuevo Pacifico | Friday, August 18th | 6PM–9PM

Celebrate the majesty of the ocean and the people of the islands in Street Level Vol. 1.3 Nuevo Pacifico.

The evening kicks off with O’side’s own DJ Kid Riz, followed by talented Samoan band trio, FAIVA, accompanied by a dance showcase, concluding with a headline performance by the Polynesian multi-instrumentalist musician, Tonga Ross Ma’u. Food from Da Kine’s Hawaiian will be for sale.

Let the rhythmic beats of dance, music, and the infectious energy of the Pacific Islanders flow through you at Street Level Vol. 1.3 Nuevo Pacifico.

Street Level Vol 1.4: Surfsiders | Friday, September 15th | 6PM–9PM

Hang ten and throw it back to the golden age of California surf culture at Street Level Vol 1.4 Surfsiders.

The evening of celebrates the rich surfing history of SoCal with performances by San Diego surf rock band, The Tourmaliners, winners of San Diego Music Awards’ Best Rock Album, and vocalist Celeste Barbier. More details to come.

Street Level Vol 1.5: Holiday Edition | Friday, December 8th | 6PM–9PM

Tickets are complimentary with an OMA member code and $10 for non-members. Attendees can also reserve a table for 4 people for $125.

This is an all-ages event. The events are located at Oceanside Museum of Art, 704 Pier View Way, Oceanside.
