Original 40 Drops a Fresh New Pale Ale in Collaboration With San Diego Velodrome

Go Fast Turn Left, a fresh new hoppy pale ale brewed in collaboration with the San Diego Velodrome, just dropped at Original 40 Brewing Company—and it’s everything we love about spring in San Diego in one refreshing pour.

With bright notes of blueberry, stone fruit, and wildflower blossoms, this smooth 5.1% ABV brew is light-bodied with just the right amount of hop bite.

Crafted with Cashmere and Mosaic hops, Go Fast Turn Left is designed to hit the spot after a ride through the Pershing Bikeway or an afternoon cheering from the sidelines. Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or just a fan of crushable craft beer, this one’s made to be your warm-weather go-to.

Bikes, Beers & Chill Vibes

The beer’s release lines up with Original 40’s monthly Mega Chill Ride, rolling out on the first Tuesday of each month. Beertender Preston Bewley leads the group ride, which heads to a different local bar or brewery before circling back to Original 40 for a post-ride hang featuring raffle prizes, late-night happy hour, and $5 beers.

And for those looking to give back, the North Park brewpub has also launched a monthly fundraiser for BikeSD, donating 10% of all sales between 6 PM and 8 PM on the fourth Monday of every month.
