While their Muffaletta with mortadella, soppressata, provolone, roasted red peppers, arugula, chopped olives, Kewpie Mayo on focaccia and the Prosciutto Baguette made on crusty bread with fancy butter, and sliced prosciutto are reliable heavy hitters, be sure to give the rookies a chance too.
The new menu features some tasty variation to the classic lineup, including the Tuna Salad Sando with soppressata, Genoa salami, artichoke and sundried tomato relish, Kewpie Mayo, Ironside milkbread, shredded iceberg and parmesan; the Jamon Beurre made on a fresh Hommage Bakehouse baguette with cultured Vermont butter, sea salt, and Jamon de Paris; and the Breakfast Sando with fried egg, melted American cheese, sliced smoked ham, Kewpie Mayo, made on a toasted potato bun. Just remember: whether the Pads win or lose, a day spent at J & Tony’s is always a homerun.
See you there, San Diego!
