A Time Capsule is Being Revealed in Balboa Park!

What does 1999 have to teach 2017?

Friday, January 27th, Park Ranger Kim Duclo will unveil a Y2K-era time capsule in Balboa Park, accompanied by the San Diego High School Drumline. Time Capsule expert Nicholas Yablon will be on board to provide some insight.

Bring lawn chairs and a note describing an object or experience you believe should not exist for future generations.

This event is free and open to all ages. Ceremony begins at 6:45pm.
