Celebrate National Pho Day At San Diego’s Pho Ca Dao

In honor of National Pho Day on Saturday, December 12, San Diego’s neighborhood Vietnamese kitchen Pho Ca Dao, founded in 2001 by the Huynh family, invites guests to celebrate with a delicious pairing including any of their signature Pho (served with PCD rich broth in a 14 hour simmer) and new Pho-Get Me Not cocktail.

Available for dine in or take out

Their latest venture in Mission Valley, Pho Ca Dao Vietnamese Kitchen, which opened in February, has ample outdoor patio seating, and also provides their full menu via curbside pick-up and delivery apps like Postmates, GrubHub, DoorDash and UberEats. The Mission Valley location features an expanded menu from the other Pho Ca Dao & Grill restaurants, along with a full bar program including a variety of specialty cocktails, a Pho Ca Dao beer, and wine.

Pho-Get Me Not and a warm bowl of pho

The perfect pairing just in time for the national holiday, the restaurant’s Pho-Get Me Not is crafted with Rum, OJ, Pineapple, Coconut, Ginger, Star Anise, a cocktail with a Vietnamese twist using many of the spices that are in Pho. Reinforcing the restaurant’s devotion to honoring Vietnamese culture, the cocktail is the ideal pairing for a warm bowl of pho this Holiday season, including favorites like the Royal Pho, Oxtail Pho or Filet Mignon with Grilled Rare Angus Filet Mignon, Bone Marrow and Vietnamese Meatballs.

The Mission Valley location is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday from 11AM to 10PM. Additionally, Pho Ca Dao currently has 7 locations throughout San Diego including Mira Mesa, Poway, Rancho Bernardo and Santee.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
