Piazza Della Famiglia Is Coming Soon…And We Can’t Wait!

We think Piazza della Famiglia is going to be a game changer for Little Italy. It’s already such an incredible neighborhood, but the addition of a well-designed, relatively large piazza like they have planned is going to create an even greater sense of community and social connection. Just like the magical piazza’s in Italy!

And the announcement of the Little Italy Food Hall within the Piazza della Famiglia is the cherry on top. After all, time with family and friends in an Italian piazza MUST include food!

The food hall, a project of a new San Diego-based hospitality group called Grain & Grit Collective, will arrive with six locally-driven food stations, a full bar license, a modern maritime design and a mobile outdoor chefs’ area featuring pop-up cooking demonstrations on the adjacent Piazza della Famiglia, which is an 11,000 square foot outdoor patio.

Within the space visitors will stroll through an inviting and lively hall where they can order fresh cuisines from six vendors including:

This project is the first of its kind in Downtown San Diego and is primed to become the new social hub of Little Italy.

We’ll see you there!
