Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant Is Now Serving Its Summer Menu
Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant is now serving its summer menu at both the Kensington and Del Sur locations.
Additions include Carne en Su Jugo (marinated flank steak in a slightly smokey stew of bacon, frijoles, serrano chiles, cilantro and onions, served with mini Monterrey Jack quesadillas) and Tacos de Birria (TJ-style seasoned and shredded chuck roll and Monterrey Jack cheese with chili salsa on the side).
Drinks includes the tequila-based La Sandia with fresh watermelon juice, lime, agave nectar, dusted with tajin – of which the restaurant has already sold 300+ since it debuted on July 1.
Ponce has answered the demand for vegetarian Mexican cuisine and is now testing out Impossible™️ and Beyond Meat on its menu. Guests can now order either brand of plant-based “meat” (while supplies last) as a vegetarian-friendly version of Ponce’s ground beef tacos, burritos and enchiladas.
See you there!
