Puesto Celebrates 9 Years With $1 Beers

Locally-owned and operated Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen is celebrating their 9th anniversary with $1 beers at all of their locations, which recently reopened for outdoor dining.

After opening Puesto Cervecería, the newest outpost of Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen and Bar in July with a brewery program spearheaded by longtime San Diego brewer, Doug Hasker, the team has been rolling out the Mexican style lagers to each of their locations. Starting February 10th through Friday, February 12, dine-in customers can enjoy one of the signature Puesto Mexican lagers for just $1 for their first beer with any food order.

From their original location in La Jolla to now three locations in San Diego, including The Headquarters and Mission Valley to their two restaurants in Orange County and two additional locations in the Bay Area (Santa Clara and Irvine), the Puesto journey and the Puesto name have grown significantly. The family-owned concept known for their award-winning tacos, tasty cocktails and gorgeous spaces have been dealing with the ups and downs of pandemic regulations, but are looking forward to several more openings this year.

Currently offering three signature beers made by brewer Doug Hasker, including Clara Lager a crisp Mexican style light lager with hints of corn, the Negra Lager which is a smooth, dark Mexican style lagger, and the Amber Lager which uses Vienna malts for a bit of body and bitterness, the brewing program at Puesto has been a highlight they are ready to celebrate.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
