Rooftop Cinema Club To Raise Funds For Lambda Legal During Pride Month At Its Venues Nationwide

Rooftop Cinema Club has announced plans to donate $1 to Lambda Legal for every ticket sold to special Pride Month screenings during the month of June at Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero, as well as at all of its venues across the country.

Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization working for the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people and everyone living with HIV. In San Diego, a total of eight Pride Month films are scheduled for Thursdays during the month of June at Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero featuring a lineup of LGBTQ+ hits and films loved by the community.

They include But I’m a Cheerleader and Fight Club on Thursday, June 8; The Birdcage and Everything Everywhere All At Once on Thursdy, June 15; Death Becomes Her on June 22, and Mean Girls on June 29.

Tickets are available here.

“From the very first day that we started Rooftop Cinema Club, we knew that giving back to the community was going to be a pillar of our core beliefs and it’s something we love to do,” said Rooftop Cinema Club Founder Gerry Cottle.

“Lambda Legal is doing tremendous work to protect members of the LGBTQ+ community and we are proud to support them during Pride Month. We hope that our fans in San Diego and across the country turn out in droves to enjoy a night out on the Rooftop during Pride Month while helping support this very important organization.”

47 Pride Month Screenings Nationwide

A total of 47 Pride Month screenings will be shown at Rooftop Cinema Club venues across the U.S. during the month of June. Currently, Rooftop Cinema Club has nine U.S. venues in Los Angeles, New York City, San Diego, Fort Worth, Houston, Chicago and Miami.

San Diego’s Rooftop Cinema Club Embarcadero is located at the Manchester Grand Hyatt (1 Market Place, San Diego, 92101) on the open-air 4th Floor Sport Terrace of the Harbor Tower.
