About Niigata Tanrei

Niigata’s sake is best described as mellow and balanced with a clean crisp finish. This is one of the most popular styles of sake in our generation. However, people tend to drink heavier and sweeter style of sake and Niigata’s sake was not popular nor famous back in time. Niigata created one of the most iconic and popular sake rice “Gohyakumangoku” and they mastered to brew more refined, clean style of sake, and Niigata Tanrei was born. This event will be a celebration of the beauty of Niigata sake craft altogether.
