San Diego Legion And Mr. Trustee Collaboration Ice Cream Available August 21

Trust Restaurant Group (TRG) Executive Pastry Chef Jeremy Harville invented two San Diego Legion-inspired ice cream flavors to celebrate the local Major League Rugby team. Several hundred fans voted for the ‘official Mr. Trustee’s ice cream flavor of San Diego Legion.’ Thanks to an influx of support, the winning creation – Red Velvet Ice Cream with Fudge Chocolate Brownie Bites – will be served at Mr. Trustee Creamery for a limited time.

Rugby fans and ice cream lovers are invited to stop by Mr. Trustee on Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 12:00 to 10:00pm. The specialty ice cream flavor will be available while supplies last. On Friday, the first ten people in line will receive a San Diego Legion Hat. The first 30 people in line will receive a San Diego Legion swag pack.

Established in 2017, San Diego Legion is part of Major League Rugby (MLR), comprising 12 professional teams in North America. One of the MLR founding teams, SD Legion will be entering its fourth season, with all home games played at Torero Stadium.

Located at 4033 Goldfinch Street, Mr. Trustee is the latest concept by TRG, founded by Executive Chef and Owner Brad Wise. The group includes the nationally acclaimed Trust Restaurant in Hillcrest; Fort Oak, San Diego’s Best New Restaurant 2019, in Mission Hills; retro steakhouse, Rare Society, in University Heights; and all-day bakery and Italian eatery, Cardellino in Mission Hills. Scooping hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday through Sunday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. Guests can also find Mr. Trustee on the dessert menus at Trust, Fort Oak and Cardellino.
