San Diego Legion To Play 2022 Major League Rugby Season At SDSU Sports Deck

San Diego Legion announced that they will play the 2022 season at the San Diego State University Sports Deck. The team is excited to welcome fans to the season home opener on Sunday, February 6 against the Utah Warriors.

“After a disrupted 2021 season, the 2022 season cannot come quickly enough,” said San Diego Legion Executive Chairman, Darren Gardner. “The SDSU Sports Deck will offer fans an intimate game day experience. We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone there in six weeks.”

The SDSU Sports Deck features a state-of-the-art natural grass surface, offering a high-end pitch for the Legion. The Sports Deck also provides easy and ample parking and is conveniently located near the MTS Green Line trolley at the SDSU Transit Center. With a limited and exclusive experience at SDSU Sports Deck, Legion fans are encouraged to purchase their season tickets in advance to avoid missing out.

“With a new home field and a roster containing some of the best-known players in the world of rugby, we are excited to give fans a memorable experience at the SDSU Sports Deck,” said Ryan Patterson, President and CEO at San Diego Legion. “Stay tuned for an exciting season of action-packed rugby in America’s Finest City.”
