If the answer is partying at one of the biggest New Year’s Eve events in San Diego, then you’ve come to the right place.

Of course, not all New Year’s parties are created equally, especially where cost is concerned. Whether you’re looking to save or splurge, San Diego’s nightlife offers something for everyone.

Remember, many of these events will sell out so be sure to buy your tickets ahead of time. Plus, you may find a discount on pre-sale tickets if you order before the big day.

If you’re looking to save a few bucks but still have a good time on New Year’s, don’t despair! There are cheaper options available that will allow you to party with the best of them without breaking the bank.

Burlesque Ball New Years Eve at McFadden’s – $20 and up

Florent NYE 2018 – $40 and up

The Ball On Broadway New Years Eve 2018 At Parq Nightclub – $40 and up

New Year’s Eve at Havana 1920 – $50 and up

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Havana 1920 in true Cuban style with a 3-piece Latin jazz band, hand-crafted cocktails, and a four-course meal!  Havana 1920 will be offering three different seatings on NYE, featuring Prix Fixe menu only.

New Year’s Eve at Prohibition – $50 and up

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in style as San Diego’s most exclusive speakeasy.  Join us as we dance the night away and cheers to the new adventures that await us in 2018!  Entrance is always subject to capacity, so be sure to arrive early.

The Irish know how to have a good time! That’s why it’s no surprise that Dublin Square is ringing in the New Year the Irish way, starting the day with an Irish breakfast and a champagne toast at 4:00pm PT to celebrate the Irish New Year. And of course, the party doesn’t stop after the first New Year. They’ll be serving up a four-course dinner and celebrate our New Year with, yet, another champagne toast! On With The Show IV – Enchanted Carnival – $65 and up

The Lafayette welcomes you to their 4th Annual On With The Show New Year’s Eve celebration: The Enchanted Carnivale’.  In town for one night only, this show will take you back in time to the travelling funfairs of the 1920s and 30s.  Come witness something you’ve never seen before.  Note: This event is 21+

So you want something a little bigger but still don’t want to pay top dollar for New Year’s? These events fit nicely into a comfortable middle-of-the-road budget.

San Diego VIP New Years Eve Club Crawl – $75 and up

Can’t decide which club you want to spend the night at? This all-access pass gives you the chance to stop by four major parties in the Gaslamp. With the pass, you can skip the lines and receive select complimentary drinks at each stop.

While a rooftop New Year’s Eve party may be out of the question for many cities in the country, it makes perfect sense in San Diego. Enjoy the view from above while toasting the New Year with complimentary champagne at midnight and get ready to dance the night away with a live DJ. Need more? You can also join the festivities at the Living Room, which will have live music from 6 to 9 PM followed by a DJ to keep the party going until 1 AM. Best of all? New Years Eve Beach Party at Catamaran Resort – $129 and up

Nothing says San Diego New Year’s like a party on the beach! Join the Catamaran for an all-inclusive evening filled with drinks, hors d’oeuvres and four ballrooms filled with entertainment. You can even upgrade your ticket to the VIP party boat for a cruise around Mission Bay.

Moonlight San Diego New Year’s Eve Cruise – $165 and up
