SD Loyal Announces “Loyal To Inclusion” Fundraiser To Support Rady Children’s Hospital

San Diego Loyal SC (SD Loyal) proudly announces their second annual fundraiser, “Loyal to Inclusion”, benefiting Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego’s Center for Gender-Affirming Care. Registration is open for the four-week fundraising effort and SD Loyal asks fans, as well as the community, to help reach the team’s fundraising goal of $100,000.

The virtual fundraiser, which began on Aug. 2 and concludes on Aug. 27, is divided into three teams – “SD Loyal”, “Loyal Select” and “Local Supporter Groups”. Last year, during the inaugural fundraising event, the club successfully raised $75,000 for the hospital’s fight against COVID-19. This year’s fundraiser supports the Center for Gender-Affirming Care, which provides essential clinical, psychological and social support for children, teens and youth in our community with gender dysphoria and related health care needs.

“More than just a sport.”

“Rady Children’s is an invaluable community resource and their programs like Center for Gender-Affirming Care ensures that our children are happy, healthy and free to be themselves,” said Chairman of SD Loyal, Andrew Vassiliadis. “Come to a match, buy that jersey, join one of our teams virtually and know that each dollar we raise goes directly to the future of our generations. I look forward to growing SD Loyal as an organization where everyone feels warm, welcomed and excited to be here. We’re more than just a sport.”
