Sing With Soapy Joe’s Car Wash In Summer Campaign, Car Wash Karaoke

Soapy Joe’s, the community-oriented, family-owned car wash with locations across San Diego County, is rebooting a fan favorite with a new gamified twist: Car Wash Karaoke!

Now through September, customers can enter videos of themselves singing their favorite songs in the car wash’s tunnel for the chance to win VIP tickets and Meet & Greets to Blink-182 (sold out!), Bruce Springsteen, and Boots In The Park.

Join the fun in Car Wash Karaoke

All participants will also be entered to win free Magic Joe Car Washes. One ultimate grand prize winner will receive a signed instrument by an artist and tickets to one of San Diego’s most sought-after concerts of 2023, Depeche Mode.

“Car washes give people a few minutes to relax in what otherwise might be a very busy day, so we wanted to build on that and give them a fun activity that can also win them some amazing prizes,” said Anne Mauler, VP of Marketing at Soapy Joe’s. “Car Wash Karaoke was inspired by the incredible concerts happening this summer and is a fun way to help people across San Diego get tickets to these in-demand shows. Plus, it’s going to be really fun to see everyone’s karaoke talent!”

The gamified karaoke contest has a “the more you play, the more you win” structure. Soapy Joe’s members participated by the thousands in the car wash’s 2022 summer campaign, and the company aims to double its numbers this year. To welcome more of the community, both current wash club members and non-members may submit karaoke songs. The first 500 to submit 10 songs will win an annual pass to Soapy Joe’s valued at $385.

Entry Process:

  1. Record videos of yourself singing your favorite songs in the Soapy Joe’s car wash tunnel.
  2. Upload your karaoke videos to YouTube.
  3. Post your video to your social media page of choice (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) with the hashtag #SingWithSoapy.
  4. Complete your entry at www.soapyjoescarwash.com/karaoke by submitting the links to your YouTube videos.
