We Can Be Sustainable, With Help From The South Bay Sustainability Fair

So, without getting all fired up about recent news, let’s just simply say that now might be a good time to check out what we can do as individuals to be as sustainable as possible.

And lucky for us, The South Bay Sustainability Fair on Saturday, June 10th will be here to show us everything we need to know.

This free, public event promotes various programs, products, and services that help make our city – our world – a better place.

Come learn about these topics:

  • Latest Technologies
  • Rebate Programs
  • No-Cost Programs
  • Recycling
  • Eating Healthier
  • Financial Incentives
  • Free Business Energy Evaluations
  • Information for Both Residential and Business
  • Education

Among the many exhibitors, SDG&E and TechniArt will be on site offering 8-packs of LED light bulbs for only $10 (limit 5 packs per customer).

Two lucky winners will win one boy and one girl bike as part of the Safe Routes to School campaign from Rady Children’s Hospital.

Children of all ages can participate in the Play and Learn area, businesses will be able to sign up to take advantage of a no-cost energy and water evaluation, and De Passion Fruit will be offering healthy and sustainable lunch options, so bring your appetite!
