Spill the Beans To Open New Seaport Village Location December 1st

Spill the Beans, the Gaslamp Quarter’s eclectic coffee and bagel shop, is opening their second location in Seaport Village as part of the area’s major redevelopment plan.

Owned by the The Verant Group, whose establishments also include barleymash, Mavericks Beach Club and five other locations across San Diego, Spill the Beans has quickly become a Gaslamp favorite with their freshly made, inventive and conscientious food and beverage.

Coffee, bagels and more…

The menu at Spill the Beans’ new spot in Seaport will mimic that of the original location, with one-of-a-kind California-style bagels and unique cream cheese spreads. Bagel flavors, such as Bacon & White Cheddar, Serrano, Habanero & Jack Cheese, along with a White Truffle & Parmesan cream cheese spread are sure to impress the palates of locals and visitors alike. Customizable breakfast sandwiches, protein bowls and oatmeal will also be available.

Spill the Beans has partnered exclusively with Dark Horse Coffee Roasters for all of their coffee and espresso drinks. From classic drip coffee to cold brews to house favorites, any beverage can be customized by adding flavors or substituting whole milk for almond, soy, oat… or even macadamia milk! Caffeinated and herbal teas, tea lattes and kombuchas will also be found on the menu at the new location. All paper and plastic cups, lids, sleeves and straws are eco-friendly and recyclable at Spill the Beans!

Why Seaport Village

Owner Dave Jones explains, “We decided on Seaport Village because of the proximity to the Convention Center, top neighboring hotel brands and Little Italy. We saw an opportunity to bring a local favorite to one of San Diego’s greatest tourist destinations. Similarly, we were, and continue to be, extremely excited about the vision and modernization of Seaport Village moving forward. The future of Seaport Village is incredibly bright and we want to do our part in successfully rebranding a very important piece of San Diego tourism. We hope to be the preferred coffee and bagel brand for joggers, tourists, and passersby as they enjoy the greatest view of America’s finest city.”

Spill the Beans, which is set to open December 1st, will offer counter service with a few tables for outdoor seating,  and is located in the Seaport Village Lighthouse at 849 W Harbor Drive C7, San Diego CA 92101.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
