St. Paddy’s O’Beach Party Unveils Local Restaurants Participating In “Guac Off”

St. Paddy’s O’Beach Party announces Ocean Beach-based restaurants and vendors participating in their inaugural event at the OB Pier Parking Lot on March 19. The all day event features live music from local bands and DJs, green beer and cocktails, St. Patrick’s Day themed games and contests and the first-ever “Guac Off”.

The Guac Off will feature samples from Ocean Beach’s top restaurants including La Doña, Wonderland Ocean Pub, Raglan Public House, OB Brewery, We Be OB, Voltaire Beach House and more. Attendees will select their favorite after a blind taste test and the winner will be crowned the “Best Guac in Ocean Beach”.

“St. Patrick’s Day is all about the color green, and I figured why not feature San Diego’s favorite green food, guacamole!” said Heather Hudson, one of the event organizers and owner of REVOLT Wine Co. “The guacamole competition is also a great way to support local restaurants and vendors and give them an opportunity to interact with the community.”

For guests interested in attending (21+), tickets to San Diego’s newest St. Paddy’s Day beachside festival are $10 and can be purchased at the door. It’s an additional $10 if interested in participating in the Guac Off. VIP tickets are $49 and can be purchased ahead of time here, which includes entrance, drink tickets, swag, “Guac Off” tasting card, a VIP lanyard and special drink lines.
