Taste Of Little Italy Kicks Off This Weekend With Multi-Day Experience

Calling all food enthusiasts to join in the fun at the 12th Annual Taste of Little Italy! Yes, it’s still on!

Instead of a one-night event, this redesigned event will be extended over a week-long period from October 4 – 8, focusing on a to-go experience that delivers delicious meals from the neighborhood’s top chefs while simultaneously creating a safe experience for everyone involved.

Taste Of Little Italy

Innovation + hustle!

We love the hustle and innovation the neighborhood has shown during these challenging times!

“As Little Italy safely and slowly reopens, we are constantly looking for new ways to allow the community to experience a taste of San Diego’s top restaurants,” said Chris Gomez, district manager of the Little Italy Association. “Taste of Little Italy is one of the most anticipated events of the year. The redesigned Taste of Little Italy will follow new safety guidelines provided by the city and bring San Diegans together to enjoy a custom meal from their favorite Little Italy venues.”

Each night, four or five restaurants will be highlighted to create an elevated multi-course tasting menu. Attendees will sample delicious meals from over 20 one-of-a-kind restaurants including Ballast Point, Bencotto, Buon Apetito, Cloak and Petal, Frost Me Bakery and Café, and Monello.

Tickets are limited!

In order to keep crowd sizes small and avoid mass gathering on the sidewalks, there will be a maximum of 300 tickets each evening.  Ticketholders will be given a time window to check-in at the Piazza della Famiglia in Little Italy. Upon arrival, each guest will receive a Little Italy tote bag so they can collect their meal from the restaurants.

In order to guarantee the best quality and safest preparation, participants will be asked to walk or drive to the participating restaurants to pick up their meals. Once all items have been obtained, guests will be able to enjoy a meal that has been expertly curated by some of San Diego’s best chefs to enjoy from the comfort of their own home.

Tickets can be purchased online and are priced at $50 for a single serving and $80 for two participants, plus applicable service fees by the ticketing platform. To learn more about the 12th Annual Taste of Little Italy, visit HERE.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
