Tavern At The Vogue Opens In Chula Vista

Tavern at the Vogue officially opens its doors this month. The old world-style beer hall and sausage house is located right next to the historic Vogue Theatre in Chula Vista and is co-owned by Alan Cassel and Dr. Gonzalo “Q” Quintero.

The pair renovated the unique space, which was most recently home to a Thai restaurant. Tavern at the Vogue will feature an impressive lineup of taps and an extensive selection of bottled beer. The menu boasts hearty German-inspired fare, including favorites such as brats and pretzels.

The restaurant had a very successful soft opening on August 4th, and visitors can enjoy limited dinner hours leading up to the grand opening. On August 21, the restaurant’s owners expect that they will begin full operational hours, with the kitchen open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday-Monday.

Along with the inviting atmosphere of the bar, visitors will be able to enjoy classic arcade games and a shuffleboard table. A fridge full of take-away options such as sausages and salads will also be stocked daily.
