The Alexan ALX: Modern Luxury Apartment Living In The Heart Of San Diego

We recently had the chance to tour the Alexan ALX apartment building in downtown San Diego, a beautiful new option for those looking for a stylish, high-rise apartment living in the heart of San Diego’s most lively neighborhoods.

What stands out about the Alexan ALX immediately is its architecture and overall sense of style. Living there would feel very much like living in a very cosmopolitan urban hotel where every detail has been thought through. Every inch of the building is worthy of a photo opp!

The building’s architecture combines sleek modern apartment living with large numerous community spaces throughout, designed to get residents gathering together, relaxing, and building a sense of community.

The apartments aren’t huge (very few city apartments are), but they’re very well-designed to make maximum use of space, and they’re very well-appointed. I felt like they had everything that you could possibly need without the excess space that leads to clutter.

The most striking feature of the Alexan ALX is the rooftop pool with views of the entire city. It’s not hard to imagine spending warm summer days and nights poolside, with a cocktail, enjoying the company of your neighbors and feeling pretty darn good about your decision to live at the Alexan ALX.

They have plans to open an on-site restaurant and beer garden but, for now the available amenities include:

  • A dog park
  • Game room with pool tables
  • State-of-the-art fitness center
  • Multiple grills and an outdoor pizza oven
  • Club room with gourmet kitchen and large scale video wall that’s perfect for entertainment
  • Meeting room

And many other amenities that make the Alexan ALX a one-stop shop for just about everything that you could need.

That being said, if you need anything else, the entire city seems to be within walking distance of the Alexan’s central location at 14th & K, near Petco Park, the Gaslamp, and the East Village.

The Alexan ALX is renting now, and we expect it will be one of the hottest addresses in San Diego for those looking for luxury apartment living. If that’s you, be sure to stop by for a tour soon as we expect these apartments’ availability won’t last long.

See you there!
