Toys For Tots Toy Drive At Tajima And Corner Chicken Begins December 11th

Help bring the joy of the holiday season to local children by participating in Tajima’s and Corner Chicken‘s Toy Drive in December.

Stop in anytime between Friday, December 11th – Thursday, December 17th to any of Tajima’s six San Diego locations, or visit Corner Chicken, found in East Village, and bring an unwrapped toy to donate. One toy donation will get you a FREE Tajima or Corner Chicken t-shirt!

All donations will be collected and given to Marine’s Toys for Tots, a non-profit charity whose mission is to collect new unwrapped toys to distribute to less fortunate children at Christmas. This year has been especially tough, with many having lost their jobs or having less disposable income around the holidays. So if you are able to help, it could make a world of difference to a kid.

And you can enjoy delicious food while doing so! Tajima kicks off their December Ramen of the Month – the Chicken Shoyu, with original chicken soy sauce broth, chicken chashu, ramen egg, white onion, grilled cherry tomatoes, garlic chips, bok choy, and sesame seeds. Corner Chicken is known for their Nashville-style hot Chicken Sando, with kale slaw, pickles, and signature sauce all served on a toasted brioche bun. You can even now get the sandwich as a slider.

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
