Trust Restaurant Group Debuts Mr. Trustee Scoop Shop in Mission Hills

Trust Restaurant Group’s much anticipated Mr. Trustee creamery, led by Executive Pastry Chef Jeremy Harville, will debut in Mission Hills today!

Located adjacent to TRG’s most recent concept, Cardellino, at 4033 Goldfinch Street, Mr. Trustee will feature creative artisan ice cream, soft serve and pints to go via their walk-up street-side window daily from 4pm to 9pm. Though not an ideal time to open a business, the TRG team hopes the opening will give San Diegans hope and comfort in the simple pleasures of ice cream.

And we thank them for it!

“Amidst all of the loss and uncertainty, our team at Trust Restaurant Group is eager to add some positivity and normalcy back into our day to day lives, as well as put some of our team members back to work,” said TRG Owner and Executive Chef Brad Wise.

“We could all use a little hope and something to look forward to right now. What better way to rebuild community and connection than with a dessert that recalls memories of carefree childhood days and is guaranteed to put a smile on faces with every scoop.”

Just in time for the warmer weather, the creamery’s offerings will feature made-from-scratch artisan ice cream in classic and creative flavors.

Opening scoops will include:

Cookies & Cream, Malted Chocolate Brownie, Strawberry Cheesecake, Honey-Vanilla, Butter Pecan, Mint Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Macadamia Cookie Dough and Berry Sorbet.

Soft serve options will include Captain Crunch and Malted Milk.

Guests can opt to enjoy their sweet treats in a cup or in one of Harville’s house-made waffle cones.

Yum! 😋
