1. Pueblo Pacific Beach

Pacific Beach’s hottest dining destination, Pueblo, offers dishes derived from the coastal communities of Baja – contemporary chef-driven plates fueled by regional ingredients, emphasizing seafood and lighter preparations, yet often influenced by traditional dishes and spices that celebrate Mexico’s culinary heritage.

For Valentine’s Day, Chef Sean McCart has put together a Couple’s Special – Three Courses for $110. Selections include Pueblo’s date salad, tortilla soup, filet and California spiny lobster, and dessert trio with fresh churros, flan and sorbet. Full menu will also be available.

Reservations recommended – (858) 412-3312

2. Isola Pizza Bar

Available at both the La Jolla and Little Italy locations from 3:00 – 10:00pm, $55 per person. Prix fixe menu only.

If your Valentine’s Day plans include dinner and a romantic stroll around La Jolla, be sure to stop by Bobboi Natural Gelato. Situated at the top of La Jolla Cove, Bobboi owners Marco and Andrea handcraft their gelato on site the old-world way, using only whole ingredients and organic, locally sourced fruit.

Starting Saturday, February 11 (through the end of February), Bobboi will have its special Valentine-inspired flavor, Flowers and Spices available to enjoy in the shop or for take home ($13.99 per pint). Made with rosewater, organic honey, and organic beet juice (for its pink hue), the gelato is infused with anise, clove, and cinnamon giving it a delicate, unique flavor profile.
