‘Virtual First Friday’ Returns On July 3rd At The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station

It’s that time again! Kick off your Fourth of July weekend with ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station at Virtual First Friday on July 3rd. Enjoy some local bites and sips for this month’s virtual lineup of talented local artists and creatives from the comfort of your own space. From live art workshops to singalongs and dance performances, there is something for everyone.

Live Dance & Art

VELTZ Fine Art presents the Mixed Media Transfer (Pt.2) live on their Facebook. LIVE at 3:30 p.m.

Remi Dalton Visual Artist & VELTZ Fine Art presents an installation by Remi Dalton as well as oil painting and mixed media. LIVE at 4:30 p.m.

San Diego Dance Theater presents a live performance along with a special film created by the company dancers. LIVE from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Lauren LeVieux Artist Studio invites guests to join a studio tour and artist talk. (Time TBD)

Live Events for Kids

Songbirds Music invites you to buckle up and get ready to rock for their “All Aboard Music Adventure.” LIVE at 5:30 p.m.

San Diego Craft Collective hosts a free live craft project followed by woodworking craft demos live from the studio! Project LIVE at 5:30 PM, Demo LIVE at 6:30 p.m.

Reading Legacies will be doing a live reading of two children’s books plus a live Q+A session with interactive games! LIVE on Instagram from 7:00 -8:00 p.m.

Banyan Tree Educational Services hosts a free creative writing workshop. The workshop will dive into creating a character and building a mini plate around that character. (Time TBD)

Nina Montejano Artist Studio showcases new works and works in progress on her Instagram.

June Rubin Studio/Gallery presents “Luxor Dreams” a watercolor painting inspired by Egypt on her Instagram.

Victoria Hanlon Studio welcomes guests to view her work.
