After receiving her Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California, Francis turned her sights to putting that degree to good use. Hear the power of education at Aztec Brewery this week.

Ships Have Sailed exists in the space where Alternative Rock and Exuberant Pop overlap. With infectious hooks and great beats, Ships Have Sailed keep the crowd moving and grooving until it’s time to go home.

Michael Tiernan – 3/25

Brick 15

Del Mar

After surviving cancer at age 16, Michael Tiernan decided to contemplate life’s bigger questions. After traveling around the country in a van with a band of Catholic hippies, Tiernan entertained the notion of entering the priesthood.

Lucky for you, he has instead chosen to devote his life to the creation of music. His singer/songwriter tunes dance across genre borders, creating and interesting and eclectic mix.

Join Michael Tiernan for his CD Release Party at Brick 15.

Laurence Juber – 3/25

Museum of Making Music

Carlsbad

Laurence Juber pushes the limits of what a guitar can do. During his time playing lead guitar for Paul McCartney’s band Wings, Juber procured a Grammy with the group.

Outside of straight musical pursuits, Juber has lent his talents to soundtracks for movies such as Dirty Dancing, Good Will Hunting and Pocahontas.

Catch this award-winning virtuoso while he’s in North County.
