The 2020 Re-Imagined San Diego International Film Festival

The re-imagined 19th Annual San Diego International Film Festival happening October 15-18, brings us 116 features, documentaries and short films, as well as Panels and Live Q&As with filmmakers from around the world.

The festival experience re-imagined

The San Diego International Film Festival is beyond proud to present the re-imagined 2020 Festival featuring two new ways to share with you the outstanding films that have been curated from around the world – the Festival Virtual Village and the Festival Drive-In Movies!

This year, the have programmed more than 70 outstanding films including features, documentaries and shorts. This Festival celebrates film’s power to create empathy via new perspectives that emerge from powerful and compelling storytelling from fresh voices and diverse points of view.

Drive-in movies at Westfield UTC

Drive-In Movies are back big time! And they’re cropping up all around the world as the preferred 2020 version of watching films on the big screen! In partnership with Westfield UTC, San Diego’s ultimate shopping and leisure experience, this year’s festival is transforming the parking lot into the perfect spot for Drive-In Movies.

VIP tickets get access to the front rows for prime viewing access. Additional VIP perks will be given on-site.

The film/event lineup

The Film Festival will open with the third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, Nomadland. Other spotlight features include Harry Chapin: When In Doubt, Do Something, Blithe Spirit, Farewell Amor, Stardust, Drunk, Bus, One Of These Days, and Honeymood.

Film lovers will enjoy features, documentaries and shorts online in the San Diego International Film Festival Virtual Village and on the big screen at the Festival Drive-In Movies at Westfield UTC.

Your ticket/pass options
