Your Mid-Week Happy Hour Has Arrived: The Local, Pacific Beach
Well San Diego… we are officially half way through the week. Hell yes!
What better way to celebrate than to grab some friends and enjoy some of the beach’s best happy hour drinks and eats?
As your local resident nacho-lover, cocktail connoisseur, and 1/2 of @cocktailnomad, on a weekly basis I will be offering up my advice on the best places to grab great cocktails, enjoy good vibes, and best food deals in town.
Because after sampling cocktails around the world (38 and counting!), there’s nothing like coming home to sweet San Diego and posting up at some of the greatest local spots!

The Local, Pacific Beach
The Deal: Happy Hour is Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy $1 off drafts, $6 specialty cocktails and small plate specials.
And… it gets even better: if you’re looking to spike your Sunday, they also offer epic brunch deals on Saturdays and Sundays with $15 bottomless bubbles until 2 p.m.

Why I love it: Not only does this spot offer daily happy hour deals, but they offer an extended Friday Happy Hour, which can be hard to come by! Once Friday rolls around, all I’m ready to do is enjoy the tail end of the summer sun with an ice cold cocktail in hand and an array of bite-sized appetizers.
The Local offers a rooftop view of the beach, while being tucked away from the boardwalk chaos!
