This free viewing of the 1966 classic How To Steal A Million offers a night under the stars in beautiful Balboa Park.

The film is part of the Museum’s Screen On The Green, a series of outdoor film viewings whose themes take inspiration from the Museum’s permanent collection, celebrating the recent completion of a large-scale reinstallation of these galleries.

So grab a picnic, a blanket, and a few friends and enjoy!

The story:

Audrey Hepburn stars as the daughter of an art forger in this lighthearted crime-caper comedy. Trouble begins when the family’s Cellini Venus sculpture (a forgery) is lent to a museum for display and needs to be authenticated by experts. To protect her father’s reputation, Nicole Bonnet (Hepburn) enlists the help of a handsome society burglar (Peter O’Toole) to steal back the sculpture.
