Alice Waters Book Signing In Rancho Santa Fe To Benefit The Edible Schoolyard Project

Legendary chef, author, restaurateur and food activist, Alice Waters will be at The Chino Farm in Rancho Santa Fe for a special book signing for her memoir, Coming to My Senses: The Making of a Counterculture Cook.

The founder of Chez Panisse in Berkeley has long been a pioneer of the (once considered radical) idea that we should have real connection to the ingredients in our food, know where they come from, and support the people who produce it locally. She’s been a tireless voice of this idea for decades, and she isn’t slowing down.

The event is a fundraiser for The Edible Schoolyard Project, a project founded by Waters with the mission of using gardens and kitchens as interactive classrooms, and a sustainable, delicious, and free lunch for every student. Amazing!

Pre-ordered books are highly recommended and can be ordered here.

Pre-ordered books may be picked up at the event or after during regular Chino Farm hours.

Come support this amazing project and meet a legend in the world of the organic, locally grown food movement.

See you there!
