Date Night In San Diego: Sip Cocktails And Get Your Geek On At Fleet Night Of Science

Looking for something different to do on date night? Do you have an ‘inner nerd’ that doesn’t get to come out often enough? Well the Fleet Night of Science is an opportunity to get your geek on while enjoying cocktails and music, and without a gazillion little kids interrupting your science-infused fun!

Each quarter, the Fleet Science Center opens its doors at night for the adults only, giving you the opportunity to explore exhibits, try science experiments, and ask the experts any questions you want. This quarter, you’ll get a chance to put common myths to the test at Mythbusters: The Explosive Exhibition, based off of the popular Mythbusters tv show.

At the exhibition, you can finally bust popular myths through exciting experiments, try to dodge a paintball, find out if running or walking in the rain keeps you drier, try to pull a tablecloth out from under dishes without disturbing them (always wanted to try that!), channel your inner action hero by hanging off a cliff, and much more!

The fun includes live demonstrations, visitor participation, and spectacular props from the MythBusters TV show – and it’s getting rave reviews!

“Go now…. even if you don’t have kids because that’s how cool the Mythbusters exhibit is.”TripAdvisor.com

“All in all, it’s a really cool exhibit for anyone who likes a bit of hands-on experimentation, but for fans of the TV show, it’s a must-see.”WIRED

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to completely geek out! Grab your tickets before they’re gone!

We’ll see you there!
