Barks & Brews Beer Festival To Raise Money For ‘The Barking Lot’
Join Barks & Brews Beer Festival Saturday June 16th for a day filled with opportunity to try refreshing beer from dozens of craft breweries, indulge in some great food, and play with lots of furry friends in Embarcadero Park, near the beautiful San Diego bay.The proceeds from the Barks and Brews Festival will benefit The Barking Lot, a local non-profit that helps facilitate adoptions of loving pups that would otherwise be put down.
Dogs can run free in the designated unleashed area for small and big dogs. Dog Quest is providing an agility dog course from 12-3 PM where all dogs are welcome to play and test their skills! Complimentary biscuits and water bowls will be provided throughout the park, as well as Doggy Beer Crafted Bone Broth from Marley’s Pet Planet so the dogs can enjoy beer tastings, too!
Music will be at a volume that is comfortable to the adorable animals and pleasing to the humans.
Get unlimited tastings of craft beer, dance in the sunshine to tunes by local artists and DJs all day long with bay side views. Shop San Diego’s vendors and munch on delicious food from various local restaurants. There will also be a variety of vendors including those dedicated to the needs of our furry friends, as well as a BEST Dressed and Doggie Talent contest.
You don’t have to be a pet owner to have a blast at this event – you just have to love beer and dogs!
