Trust Restaurant Group Unveils Plans For Fort Oak Restaurant In Mission Hills

The co-founders of Trust Restaurant Group are set to expand to Mission Hills with a new restaurant and bar called Fort Oak. Scheduled for a Fall 2018 debut, it will be the third eatery in three years for executive chef Brad Wise and general manager Steve Schwob. The duo opened their acclaimed Trust Restaurant in Hillcrest in 2016 and Hundred Proof in University Heights in 2017.

Fort Oak will anchor The Fort, a new mixed-use building on Fort Stockton by Jonathan Segal, the local developer-architect whose 36-unit building on Park Boulevard, Mr. Robinson, houses Trust.

The Fort’s 3,404-square-feet ground floor of indoor and outdoor space will be dedicated to the restaurant. Envisioned in collaboration with GTC Design, it will include a uniquely-shaped historic structure, once a Ford auto dealership in the 1940s, that will be rebuilt into a cocktail bar. Additional spaces in the multi-faceted project include a main dining room, an exhibition kitchen and expansive patio.

We love their other locations; looking forward to seeing what they cook up here!

We’ll share more details on the menu and opening dates when we have them!
