7 Strong And Delicious Cocktails To Get You Through The Holidays

The holidays can be a stressful time of year. Between taking time off, traveling, and spending ridiculous amounts of money, it’s enough to make even the sanest person go slightly nuts.

So what do we, as adults, do to combat this stress? Drink, of course.

Luckily, some of San Diego’s best restaurants and watering holes have created wonderful seasonal cocktails and are ready to serve!

Below are seven truly heavenly cocktails — and where to find them in San Diego — that will knock your socks off (and make the holidays just a little more merry!).

Seasonal Cocktail — Bottega Americano

A mix of apple infused bourbon, egg whites, clove syrup, cinnamon vanilla syrup, and lemon juice, this drink really captures the flavors of the holidays, so we’re definitely digging the simple name of “Seasonal Cocktail.”

You know what else we’re digging? The drink itself.

Forever Young — Jsix

This yummy cocktail made with High West Double Rye, Amaretto, Licor 43, lemon, cranberry syrup, and egg whites will do exactly what the name says: make you feel Forever Young.

Just don’t get too carried away with these, you might feel young after drinking one, but remember: unlike your college days, your hangovers are brutal now.

Served in a champagne flute and made with Oggi’s Black Magic Stout, champagne, and grenadine, this cocktail is class all the way.

Just be careful, while this drink is truly out of this world, with that combination of ingredients, if you drink too many you could be looking at the world’s worst hangover.
