The Gaslamp Quarter Turns Into a Multi-Cultural Party Zone This February
The Gaslamp Quarter is about to have one of its busiest weekends of the year, and honestly, it sounds like the kind of thing where you just pick a night and go with it. Gaslamp Mardi Gras 2026 is blending Mardi Gras, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day into a multi-day celebration across 20+ venues along 5th Avenue.
The same team behind the sold-out San Diego Zombie Crawl is running the show, so they know how to pull off a crawl that doesn’t feel like total chaos.

Three Nights, Multiple Celebrations
The event runs Friday, February 13, Saturday, February 14, and Fat Tuesday, February 17, with each night kicking off at 6 PM at American Junkie. You’re looking at a self-guided bar crawl that hits the major Gaslamp spots, with live DJs, festive decor, and exclusive drink and dining deals at each venue.
The cultural mashup is intentional here, celebrating Mardi Gras traditions alongside Lunar New Year and Valentine’s weekend, which all happen to land around the same time this year.

Fat Tuesday Goes Extra

Extended happy hours run at select venues throughout the crawl, and there’s a $12 flat rate for 12 hours of parking with free overnight at the ACE Parking Structure on Broadway.

Play and Stay Options
If you want to make a full weekend out of it, there are play-and-stay hotel deals available. Given the number of venues and the fact that this spans three nights, staying downtown makes a lot of sense if you’re planning to hit more than one night of the celebration.
See you there!
The best nights in the Gaslamp are the ones where you just show up and let the evening unfold, and this crawl is built for exactly that.
