Sign Of The Whale Opens In Gaslamp

San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter gained a new addition to its restaurant lineup this month. Sign of the Whale celebrated its official grand opening last Friday, August 2, and is ready to cater to a wide audience (locals and travelers alike!) looking for a good time and great food.

Inherently Californian, but with global appeal, Sign of the Whale is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown San Diego on Fifth and G. This location follows in the footsteps of its sister, Sign of the Whale in Stamford, Connecticut, where it remains a popular neighborhood gathering spot.

The menu offers a straightforward approach relying on high-quality and locally-sourced ingredients to produce balanced, approachable New American dishes with a seafood touch.
