Liberty Station Kicks Off Salute the Season With the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Mark your calendars for the kick-off of the holiday season at the 2025 Salute the Season main event, the Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony!

Liberty Station Tree Lighting & Holiday Festivities

Gather your loved ones, get dressed in your festive sweaters, and enjoy gazing upon the 88-foot Norfolk Pine Tree in Liberty Station’s North Promenade as it is lit up.

There will be entertainment, shopping, and more throughout the neighborhood – including live entertainment, festive firetruck rides, free photos with Santa, and a showing of The Grinch movie.

See you there!

The tree lighting is the kick-off of the Salute the Season festivities at Liberty Station, which also includes the Nutcracker Tea with the San Diego Ballet, Hanukkah Celebration and Menorah Lighting, and Rady Children’s Ice Skating Rink.
