Keep Student’s Creative Juices Flowing With An Art Contest
With kids staying at home, parents are on the hunt for creative and educational ways to keep them busy. Local nonprofit, Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation’s annual art contest is perfect for to get student’s creative juices flowing.
The Foundation is now accepting submissions for their annual “Marines in Flight” art contest. The goal of the student art contest is to give local students a platform to express their artistic and creative skills and share their passion of military history.
Student artists in the San Diego county and Southwest District in grades 6-12 are eligible to share artistic skills, illustrating the history of the U.S. Marine Aviation, past and present.
Winners will receive a cash prize and have their artwork displayed at an exhibit at the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum.
