Holidays At Estancia La Jolla Hotel And Spa

Staying safe and staying local this holiday season is key, but how to make it feel festive with so much happening around the world can be difficult. Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa, the expansive Spanish-style retreat tucked into La Jolla has all the answers, when it comes to holiday celebrating.

Winter Solstice Transformation

Find a bit of inner peace when Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa partners with holistic healing brand Saffron & Sage for a ceremony, soup and elixir experience on December 18th from 5:30PM to 7PM. The shortest day of the year (and longest night) signals a powerful transition.

The winter solstice is believed to hold a powerful energy for regeneration, renewal and self-reflection. Outside on the Estancia property sip a warming bone broth soup, and wellness elixir, during a ceremony, meditation, and journaling experience. All attendees will be entered into a raffle that includes two swag bags and two spa treatments. Limited tickets are available for $55 and socially distanced protocols are in place.

Greenfinch Holiday Pop-Up Bar

Nothing says, hello to the holidays like a festive cocktail and this year at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, their recently revamped restaurant Greenfinch will be offering a fun holiday-themed cocktail pop-up on Fridays and Saturdays in December. Guests can order to-go cocktails and sip creations like the English Ginger Snap made with Earl Grey-infused Tito’s Vodka, Amaro Nonino, Persimmon and Ginger Beer or the Santa Smokes Cigars, made with local distilled Malahat Rum, Amaro Nonino, Benedictine, Drops of Scotch Spiced Cranberry and Mole Bitters. All cocktails are $16.

Christmas Dinner To-Go

Even those who love to cook, may be feeling burned out after months of breakfast, lunch and dinner at home. For those looking to relax this Christmas and have the pros do the cooking, Greenfinch Restaurant at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is offering special holiday dinner to-go on Christmas Day. On Christmas, guests can enjoy a feast of 11 different dishes like Mini Baked Brie, Butternut Squash Soup, Brussels Sprouts, Red Wine Braised Short Ribs, Pork Roast and finishing off with individual Pecan Tartlet and Yule Log. The Christmas Dinner Meal Package serves 4-6 people and costs $350. Call the restaurant at 858-964-6500 to place your order.
