Saint Archer Releases Limited Edition Peaches & Cream With Paru Tea

San Diego-based Saint Archer Brewing Co. is excited to announce the launch of their next brew to the limited R&D series, which kicked off last June, the Peaches & Cream Milkshake IPA with Oolong Tea.

Collaborating with modern San Diego tea company, Paru Tea Bar, which offers high-quality loose leaf tea sourced from small farms around the world, the beer is a delicate fruit bomb with a luscious, creamy finish.

Local collabs for the win!

R&D and Brew Manager, Greg Garrity, is always looking for local businesses to work with and hopes to partner with a new local business every month. While cupping at Paru Tea in September of last year, he stumbled across their Taiwanese Milk Oolong Tea.

“It was bursting out of the cup with silky, stone fruit, and buttercream aromas and we knew this had to go in the classiest style of beer ever created; Milkshake IPA. We accentuated the stone fruit aroma imparted from the tea with fresh peach puree, upped the creaminess with milk sugar, and lightly hopped the beer with Mosaic hops to add a tropical berry twist,” said Garrity. The Brew Manager encourages a visit to Paru to purchase the tea to enjoy side-by-side.

Where to get it…

The new release will be available in 16oz to-go 4-packs for $13.99, starting Thursday, January 14th at both of Saint Archer’s tasting rooms, located in Leucadia and Miramar and they will also be selling bundles including a .5oz bag of Paru’s Milk Oolong Loose Leaf Tea with a 4 pack for $20 at the breweries for pick-up, link to pre-order here.

Stay healthy, San Diego!
