Drink, Feast, and Party Your Way Through Tiki Oasis 2026

Tiki Oasis is back for another five nights, and this year’s theme is Psychedelic Tiki – which is exactly as fun as it sounds. Diaphanous paisley, pop-art design, kaleidoscopic Pacific Island scenes, and a swirl of tropical cocktails, luau feasts, and bartender battles across the weekend.

The main event lives at the Town and Country Resort, and the kick-off Luau takes over the Catamaran. Here’s where to spend the food-and-spirits budget.

Kick Things off at The Catamaran Luau

The whole thing kicks off with a Luau at the historic Catamaran (est. 1958), which has the original Polynesian motif, artifact-filled lobby galleries, and Tikis dotted along the waterways. It’s the kind of setting that basically writes the vibe for us.

The ticket includes a lei greeting, welcome Mai Tai, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and live entertainment from Pride of Polynesia. Show up early for a walk down the pier or a quiet moment on the beach – the surroundings are half the point.

📆 Wednesday, August 5 | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
📍 3999 Mission Blvd, San Diego

Mixologists Behind the Bar All Weekend

Tiki Oasis pulls in more than 20 top mixologists from around the country – Las Vegas, Phoenix, Denver, Long Beach, Anaheim, LA, Tampa, New Orleans, and beyond. Bartenders like Adam Rains, Ian Burrell (from the UK), and Eliza Woodman (last year’s Bartender Battle winner) will be behind bars at seminars, tastings, and hotel bar takeovers all week.

The mixology seminars themselves are worth the trip alone. Titles include Negroni’s Historic Cocktail Comeback, A Spirited History of Rum: 10 Cocktails That Changed Everything, Beyond the Lime: Tropical Cocktails & the Power of Acid, and more. Tickets sold a la carte, with or without an event pass.

Cheer on the San Diego Bartender Battle

The weekend wraps with the San Diego Bartender Battle, hosted by Tiki Niki and Captain Dave and sponsored by Crossfire Hurricane Rum and REAL Infused Exotics. Some of San Diego’s best bartenders go head-to-head in a cocktail throwdown while we sample four rounds and cheer on our favorite.

21 and over only, and it’s an a la carte ticket if we’re not doing the full weekend pass.

📆 Sunday, August 9 | 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
📍 500 Hotel Cir N, San Diego

Bites at The Arlo, Lapper, and the Food Court

No need to leave Town and Country between events. The Arlo is the on-property upscale spot with themed menus for the weekend. Lapper handles the casual side of dining. And the Flamingo Lawn and Market Food Courts serve grab-and-go options just steps from the Martini Lawn concert space.

Between the food halls, the seminars, and the bars, we can basically live at the resort for five nights – which is kind of the point.

See you there!

Grab a Hawaiian shirt, round up the crew, and head to Hotel Circle – Tiki Oasis 2026 is basically a five-night island vacation without leaving San Diego.
