San Diego Dessert Chain, SNOICE, Celebrates Filipino American History Month

These limited-time items will include a gourmet twist on a Filipino classic halo-halo by Chef Tara Luansing
Monsod; a custom pandesal ice cream sandwich from social media comedian, RJ Ganaden aka @randomridge; and a Filipino-inspired cloud foam coffee beverage made from local micro coffee roaster, Mostra Coffee.

Learn more about FilAm culture through these collabs

“For Filipino American History Month, we wanted to do something special. To team up with friends through our
unique platforms and talents to show our collective love and appreciation of our heritage,” remarks Snoice
co-owner Dianne Manansala-Ringpis. “Not only do we hope to celebrate our heritage through yummy food, but
also hopefully encourage folks from different backgrounds in the San Diego community to learn more about our
FilAm culture through these collabs.”

“Snoice has a long tradition of collaborating with the community, it’s a special opportunity and huge honor to
create something unique with our talented friends while celebrating the versatility and richness of Filipino
American food,” remarks Snoice co-owner Jayrell Ringpis.

“We believe food is universal—a method of communication that surpasses any barrier—and these three desserts that we have created with these incredible FilAms are our fun mini-expressions, growing up as next generation Filipinos in California. We hope it inspires others to celebrate their culture and brings the community together over a common love: dessert.”

Snoice will be offering these items for a limited time. Check the website or calendar below to see the availability
of all three items. Items can be ordered in advance online here and are available while supplies last.

About Snoice

In 2015, Snoice (pronounced “snoyce”) started as a pop-up inside Kababayan Bakery, located in San Diego, California. In response to its popularity in the Paradise Hills area, the shop expanded into a full storefront. Since then, Snoice has been featured in publications such as Zagat and Eater for serving one-of-a-kind ice cream sandwiches and popularizing high-quality, fully customizable Filipino-inspired halo-halos, Taiwanese shaved snow, and boba drinks.

See you there, San Diego!
