Animae Hosts 2nd Annual Female Chef Collaboration Dinner Benefiting MAKE Projects
After the success of last year’s inaugural MAKE Projects Dinner, Chef Tara Monsod and Animae will welcome back a roster of eminent female chefs hailing from some of west coast’s most vibrant food cities.
Featuring six female chefs from San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle, this collaborative culinary occasion benefits MAKE Projects, a San Diego-based employment enterprise for refugee and immigrant women and youth.
Celebrating Women’s History Month
In celebration of Women’s History Month and in-step with MAKE Projects’ mission of assisting San Diegans across social, racial, economic and geographic barriers, Chefs Tara Monsod of Animae, Rasika Venkatesa of Mourad SF, Melissa Miranda of Musang, Laura Warren of Puffer Malarkey Collective, Cesarina Mezzoni of Cesarina, and Marissa Williams of Herb & Sea are joining forces for this year’s 6-course collaboration dinner hosted at Animae, Sunday March 19th.
Bringing Together Diverse Communities
Drawing on this commonality of using food as a means to bring together diverse populations, unite communities and empower women, the MAKE Projects Dinner chefs are proud to highlight female producers including wine pairings from Niner Winery and Hall Napa Valley and a welcome dessert cocktail developed with the team at Botanica.
Tickets for the MAKE Projects Dinner are available for purchase here for $295 per person, with alcohol, tax and gratuity included. The evening will begin with welcome cocktails and small bites, followed by a formal dinner and wine pairing.
See you there, San Diego!
