Herb & Sea invites you to the 3rd Annual WILDCOAST Benefit Dinner, a family-style seafood soirée on their Moonlight Deck!
Herb & Sea Brings Back WILDCOAST Benefit Dinner
A fun and interactive meal, the evening promises a dinner experience like no other where a giant fish will be placed on a bed of hot coals, covered with seaweed and burlap, and buried in the sand to roast inside a salt shell—unveiled and served during dinner.
The evening will include bites from the raw bar, including Ceviche, Oysters, white Fish Toast, and freshly baked Focaccia.
Sides like Local Greens Salad with embered beets, and Dutch Oven Roasted Potatoes with leeks, tomatoes, and onions accompany the star of the show: Salt-Baked Fish with lemon, garlic thyme, and parsley.
End the evening with a dessert of house-made doughnuts with fish marrow chocolate sauce and sea salt (just trust us on this one!). The dinner is part of Herb & Sea’s long-term partnership with WILDCOAST. For the past two years, Herb & Sea has offered its rotating ‘Fresh Catch’ dish.
An Advocate for Wildcoast
The profits from this dish go to the international non-profit WILDCOAST, which has an impressive resume of conservation accomplishments.
This includes protecting 500,000+ acres of underwater parks off the coast of California from marine poachers, preserving gray whale breeding and birthing lagoons in Baja, and preventing 200,000 pounds of trash at the US/Mexico border from entering the Pacific Ocean, just to name a few.
With their dining room located mere steps from one of San Diego’s most iconic beaches and a menu filled with seafood, Herb & Sea from the Puffer Malarkey Collective has a vested interest in preserving coastlines and marine ecosystems.

Tickets can be secured via Opentable for $120 per person. They include food, alcohol, gratuity, and tax. All tables will be seated communally.
