East Village Block Party

Celebrating East Village’s Community Spirit

Featuring local small businesses, live music and entertainment, tasty bites, beer and cocktails, local retail vendors, photo opportunities, and a variety of fun family-friendly activities, the event will celebrate the return of East Village’s very own San Diego Padres.

“ We are so excited to bring back the East Village Block Party for its 12th year,” said Ethan Olsen, Assistant District Manager of the East Village Association.

“The Block Party is one of East Village’s most renowned events and it truly offers the opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate all the wonderful local businesses, restaurants, and retailers that make the East Village so full of life.”

“Our community welcomes everyone with open arms to celebrate the return of baseball season in the Padres’ very own neighborhood.”

East Village Block Party: For Families and Fans

Offering all sorts of family-friendly activities, the East Village Association welcomes Padres fans of all ages to attend. The streets outside Petco Park will be bustling with many exciting activations and competitions.

Stroll through the fenced-in streets, enjoying a wide selection of tasty bites and sips from local food and beverage vendors while soaking up the lively atmosphere.

Look forward to a walk-through car show, appearances by local sports teams including San Diego Legion, and fitness activations hosted by East Village gyms such as Orangetheory Fitness and the BXNG Club.

Additionally, there will be a gaming area, photo opportunities with Mobius Pix, a variety of local vendors, and engaging musical entertainment.

Live Entertainment and Mouthwatering Treats

From your stadium favorites to mouthwatering meals, the East Villages Block Party will offer an array of bites that are sure to be a home run.

Vendors like El Rey Tacos a Vapor and Fuego Me Up will be serving culinary offerings like tacos, burritos, and more that truly highlight the rich flavors of San Diego.

You can also feast on Ballpark classics like hot dogs, fries, Texas-style brisket, and Southern comforts from Golden Bear Barbeque, We Cookn, and Doggos Gus.

For those with a sweet tooth, CAKED and Teaspoon Boba have you covered and if you’re looking for lighter fare, enjoy smoothies, wellness shots, sushi, and more at local East Village vegan café, Jai Jus.

If you’re over 21, you can sip on ice-cold beer, seltzers, and cocktails from local vendors, including Topo Chico—just pick up a 21+ wristband at the entrance and drink up!

Throughout the day, enjoy musical performances from Latin bands and local DJs at three different stages.

Dance along to 90s throwbacks and classics at the California Love Stage hosted by East Village’s own DJ Artistic, DJ Boogie Blanco, and more or get your groove on as San Diego’s beloved talent including Israel Maldonado Music, DJ Kid Wonder, and Mariachi Dinastia take to the main US Bank Stage!
