La Jolla Celebrates Art and Local Flavors

“Every year, we are thrilled to bring together such a diverse and talented group of artists, as well as the region’s finest wineries, distilleries, and breweries, in a grand open-air celebration in the village,” said Brenda Chand, Executive Director of the La Jolla Art & Wine Festival.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s festival and supporting the arts and education in San Diego.”

Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore and acquire new masterpieces from over 160 artists hailing from across the United States, Mexico, and beyond.

Artists will present their works in a diverse array of mediums, including painting, sculpture, jewelry design, fine glass, ceramics, woodwork, mixed media, and photography, at the open-air festival.

This year’s featured artist is Roy Kerckhoffs, a renowned photographer and mixed media artist whose work conveys a story of a place with a history, highlighting the beauty that exists in human-made wooden, concrete, and steel structures contrasting with soft organic forms from nature.

Wine & Beer Garden

The iconic Wine & Beer Garden will feature more than 40 international wineries, local craft breweries, and distilleries, offering a delightful array of tastes and experiences.

“This year’s Wine & Beer Garden will feature a wide range of tastes and sips that can satisfy anyone’s appetite, from small bites to craft brews and fine wines,” said Brenda Chand.”

“Art comes in many forms, and our passionate food and beverage vendors do an excellent job of incorporating creativity into their craft.”

Wine lovers can taste selections from local favorites such as La Jolla Winery, LJ Crafted Wines, Bird Rock Fine Wines, and Pali Wine Co.

The selection extends to wines from Ramona, San Diego, Paso Robles, and Sonoma, featuring boutique family wineries and established names like Orfila Vineyards and Winery, Wente Vineyards, and Kobrand Fine Wine and Spirits.

Beer aficionados can sample brews from La Jolla-founded Puesto, San Diego’s Burning Beard Brewing Company, Cerveza Azteca, and kombuchas from Bücha Hard Kombucha and Boochcraft.

Cocktail connoisseurs will enjoy mixology by La Jolla’s Marisi and Roseacre, canned cocktails from woman-owned Melograno, spirits from minority- and woman-founded Fierce & Kind, and local favorite Storyhouse Spirits.
